We always start at the end and finish at the beginning, before we start.

It sounds confusing, but it isn’t. For us, there is no other way to work. We need to understand your end goal first and then work backwards to understand how that goal can be delivered. We work through market demographics, competitors, communication methods and mediums, organisational structure, tone of voice, industry standing, opportunities and internal culture etc - all essential groundwork to develop a strategy with the best chance of success.

What we have achieved for our clients in the past is important, but so too is the ability to stay fresh and innovative. Complacency is a killer in any industry but especially in a creative environment. Challenging our clients and ourselves at every opportunity has been one of the keys to both our client’s and our own success.

We research titles to ensure they offer the best use of your budget. We negotiate hard but fairly to ensure you get a great price. We develop relationships with media companies to understand what they want and how that fits with what you want. We also look for other opportunities with them - PR, sponsorships, guru columns - there's always a way to get a little bit more for your budget.

Show us a good radio ad and we'll show you a hundred bad ones! We're just like you, we cringe when we listen to a bad radio ad but they can work for you, you just need to get it right. There’s nothing wrong with a press release showing a charity cheque handover. OK, so they aren’t the most original pieces of PR and the sheer volume of them in local press kind of numbs you to what are really important messages, both for the charity and the supporting organization. So what can be done? Simple, make more out of the cause being supported. There is always a great story inside every press release, it just needs letting out. We put just as much work into PR as we do into creative design, just without the pretty pictures! PR is crucial. When you buy a paper or magazine, you are buying it because you want to read the stories, not look at the adverts.
